IN-KIND DONATIONS
If you do not have cash available or would rather donate something else, we can use in-kind donations just as well! In-kind donations are items that you give to us either for our own use or for sale to raise funds for our operation. For example, in the past few years our animals have benefited from in-kind donations such as horse trailers, feeders, water troughs, saddles, bridles, other tack, grooming tools, hoof picks, and farrier tools. If you make an in-kind donation, you will get a donor acknowledgement letter for the fair market price of the item just as if you had donated cash.
This year we are in need especially of a working truck, car, tractor/skidsteer/forklift, and a riding mower. We're also looking for a smaller manure spreader that can be pulled behind a riding mower or ATV.
Please note:
- If you have hay or straw that you no longer need, please make sure it is still fresh (not moldy, too dusty or mature). We will come out to pick up any hay or straw that we can use for our animals but will have to inquire about its condition.
- If you have a vehicle or trailer without title that you'd like to donate, we will take it if it is still usable. We have experience with the process of taking out a new title for vehicles or trailers.
- Yes, we have use for real estate, too, even though we have our own micro-ranch. If we cannot use your real estate directly for our operation, we will put it up for sale to raise funds.
