WYATT

Picture

   Horse (Gelding)
   Age: c. 21
   Arrival: March 29, 2025

   Current status: Sanctuary
RECENT SPONSORS: Lorelei N., (Wyatt can use some more
    sponsors!)

   ASSIGNED VOLUNTEERS:  Lorelei N.

History: Wyatt came to us from Artesia when his loving and long-
term owner, who had adopted our mule Roscoe as a companion
to Wyatt in January 2025, unexpectedly died. Wyatt looks like a
cross between quarter horse and morgan. He is currently on
sanctuary here because he has the important role of showing us
which donkeys would make good horse companions. However,
we're open to the possibility that he be adopted to the right home
   at some point.

Personality: Wyatt is dominant (though not aggressive) with the mules and donkeys but has been reported to be an underdog in the company of other horses. He has a very close bond with his current buddy Roscoe, our mule with whom he lived when his former owner died, and we will make sure that they can stay together.

Diet: Wyatt gets bermuda hay, some leafy alfalfa, and a mash of soaked hay pellets (usually timothy/alfalfa) and senior feed. Sponsor Wyatt here!
